Employment by a licensed contractor. Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC) Apprentice Program is accredited by the State of Florida.  The state requires apprentices to be employed and trained on the job by a licensed contractor.  If unemployed, please visit our Member Directory page under the Membership tab for lists of potential contractors.

Contractor Sponsor. Your employer needs to sign ABC's Contractor Sponsor Agreement.

Register for the program.  ABC will begin registering apprentices the last two weeks of July at our office. Your employer must notify ABC's education staff of your participation in the program before enrolling.
