ABC’s Future Leaders In Construction Training Program is a 3 month series of educational events designed to enhance the leadership skills and knowledge of young high-potential construction professionals. Through three monthly educational sessions, peer-to-peer networking, and community involvement activities, ABC’s FLIC prepares young professional for leadership roles within their company and with ABC.
A variety of essential topics will be presented throughout the year including:
• Perspectives from Industry Leaders
• Everyday Leadership
• Understanding Legal Issues in the Construction Business
• Successful Hiring & Firing
• LEED in the Field
The Future Leaders group meets one day each month from May through July, 2009, usually from 8:30 AM - 4 PM. The afternoon will include lunch with an industry leader from 11:30 AM to 1 PM. followed by the training program from 1 PM to 5 PM. Future leaders are also encouraged to attend monthly ABC meetings.
