Training Future Leaders
ABC’s NEXGEN Leadership Training Program is a 8 month series of educational events designed to enhance the leadership skills and knowledge of young high-potential construction professionals. Through one monthly educational sessions, leadership training, peer-to-peer networking, and community involvement activities, ABC’s NEXGEN prepares young professional for leadership roles within their company and with ABC.
Individuals must be nominated by their employer, have current or future management, decision-making responsibility and have been with their company for at least a year. Companies may nominate more than one employee. However, the number of employees per company may be limited. Applicants will go through a selection process to fill the 25-30 seats available.
The NEXGEN Leaders group meets one Wednesday each month September through April, usually from 11:30 AM - 4 PM. The sessions will include lunch with an industry leader, followed by the training program,ending with networking happy hour 4 PM to 5 PM. NEXGEN leaders are also encouraged to attend ABC events or meetings.
